Frequently Asked Questions
What are the spending requirements for the pub quiz?
Each venue has it’s own rules on this; please check with venue management. Currently, there is no entry fee per team/participant, but we are considering this.
Do I need to make a reservation for the pub quiz?
While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend making a reservation to ensure you have a table, especially during busy times. Reservations can be made by calling the respective venues (shown here).
How long does the pub quiz last?
The pub quiz typically lasts about 2 hours, with short breaks between rounds for ordering food and drinks.
Can I join the quiz after it has started?
Latecomers are welcome, but joining mid-quiz may impact your ability to compete for prizes. We recommend arriving on time to enjoy the full experience.
Are there any age restrictions for the pub quiz?
The pub quiz is open to all ages, but participants must be of legal drinking age to order alcoholic beverages. Please bring a valid ID.
How do I pay the entry fee for the quiz?
The entry fee can be paid at the beginning of the quiz, either in cash or via card. Please see our staff for assistance.
What prizes are available for the quiz winners?
Prizes vary each week and may include gift cards, discounts, or special items. Details are announced at the start of each quiz.
Can I participate if I’m not dining?
To ensure a fair experience for our servers and other patrons, we ask that all quiz participants meet the minimum spending requirement on food and/or drinks.
Is there a limit to team sizes?
Yes, to keep the competition fair, we limit team sizes to a maximum of 6 people. Larger groups can split into multiple teams, which really benefits players/teams as well (it’s a too many cooks in the kitchen scenario)
Is it allowed to guess random answers quickly to score higher points?
We encourage fair play and ask all participants to answer questions to the best of their knowledge. Guessing random answers just to be the fastest goes against the spirit of the quiz and undermines the enjoyment for everyone. Consistent patterns of this behavior may result in disqualification from winning prizes. Let’s keep the quiz fun and fair for all!
We really enjoy our quiz host, are gratuities allowed, either cash or electronically?
Certainly! Our hosts sometimes display their Venmo or other options for e-tipping, or welcome cash tips, but it’s entirely up to the individual host.
Does 10X Trivia have any kind of rewards program for frequent players?
Not at this time, but it is something we planning on doing, stay tuned!
